“In the depths of who I am I rejoice in God my savior.”
Vista Kids Children’s Ministry considers it an honor to walk beside parents as together we enable children to build life giving relationships with God, each other, and our community.
All children are invited to gather together during worship services for a short Children’s Time/Children’s Sermon. Children 4 years-2nd grade can then travel to Fellowship Hall (Room 121) for Children’s Church. Children’s Church is a brief, child-friendly, worship opportunity to help children experience the love of Jesus. Following a structure similar to “big church” worship, Children’s Church includes many kid-focused elements such as puppets, drama, felt board, action activities, and familiar songs. Engaging themes tie to worship concepts help provide a connection for children and parents! Children are led back into the sanctuary during the Invitation to the Offering for the remainder of worship.
Vista Kids Small Groups | 9:45 am Learning Hour
In Vista Kids Small Groups, our children are guided through building life-giving relationships with God, each other, and our community through hands-on, explorative Bible study. With the Deep Blue curriculum, children make Bible stories, Bible people and Bible passages a part of their lives. They also will come to know the Bible as their book and find ways to let the Bible speak to them today!

Vista Babies and Vista Tots
This group has its own special place to learn during worship and the learning hour. Our caregivers are loving, trained staff and volunteers who share God’s love through songs, play, and games through the God Loves Me program.
Children’s Worship Tools
Children’s worship bulletins that follow the scope and sequence of the Deep Blue children’s curriculum can be found on the children’s worship shelf in the back of the sanctuary. Our older children can try their hand at Bible puzzles that correspond with the scope and sequence concepts. Our young worshippers can use a bag each Sunday with crayons, pencils, pipe cleaners and books to assist them in participating in worship!
Gifts to God
Each month our children are invited to offer their gifts through offering during small groups to go toward opportunities to bless both locally and globally. Even though the gifts (and those gifting) are small, together they can make a huge difference!
